Resources
Most problems do not need a trip to the shop. Start a secure remote session and one of our technicians can take a look at your screen within minutes.
Remote support
Nothing is installed permanently, nothing runs in the background, and you can end the session at any moment.
Ring (02) 9544 6777 so a technician is ready and expecting your session. We never contact you out of the blue asking for access.
Open the support page and click Get Remote Support, then download and run TeamViewer. It does not need to be installed.
Tell us the ID and password shown on screen. Nobody can connect without them, and they change every session.
Staying safe
If someone rings claiming to be from Himark, Microsoft, Telstra or the NBN and asks for remote access to your computer, hang up. Legitimate companies do not cold-call about a virus on your machine. When in doubt, hang up and call us on (02) 9544 6777 — the number on this site.
A remote session only starts when you read us a one-time ID and password. You can see everything we do on your screen, and closing the window ends our access immediately.
No genuine technician asks for payment in gift cards, cryptocurrency or bank transfers during a support call. If that happens, it is a scam — end the call.
Disconnect from the internet, then call us. We deal with this regularly and can help you check what was accessed, remove anything left behind and secure your accounts.
Common questions
No. You are welcome to drop in during opening hours — Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 6pm, and Saturday, 10am to 4pm. For onsite visits and business work it is worth calling ahead so we can schedule a technician.
Nothing if you decide not to go ahead. We look at the machine, tell you what is wrong and what the repair costs, and you decide from there.
Most common jobs — drive replacements, upgrades, virus cleanups, screens where we hold the part — are done the same day. If a part has to be ordered we will tell you the timeframe up front.
Not if we can help it. We back up before doing anything that touches a disk, and if a drive is already failing we will discuss recovery options before proceeding.
Sometimes yes, sometimes no — and we will tell you honestly which one it is. An SSD and more memory can give a slow six-year-old machine years of life. Other times the money is better spent on a replacement.
Yes. MacBooks, iMacs, Mac minis and iPads are a large part of what comes across the bench, alongside Windows machines.

Call the shop, send a message, or drop in. We will tell you honestly what it needs and what it will cost — before any work starts.
